FERmuntanyA
FERmuntanyA is a play on words in Catalan, taking advantage of "FER" -"A" from "FERA." In Catalan, "fer" means "to do" or "to make," so it would translate to something like "DOmountain (activities)" in English.
It is a compilation of activity proposals accessible by public transport and bicycle.
We understand the bicycle as a means of transport and discovery. We aim to promote a sustainable model of access to the mountains, a mode of transportation to reach the Pyrenees and the starting points of other activities without engines, noise, or pollution, and with the utmost respect for the environment.
Beyond the specific proposals, it seeks to inspire the use of public transport and bicycles as everyday means of transport and as a way to access nature.
We are very happy that different people have joined us in creating the various activities, and we hope that many more will accompany us in the future.
In FERmuntanyA, various activities will be added throughout the year in the Pyrenees, along with their respective access points.

bicycle + ski mountaineering
Several summit or ski touring traverse options where bicycles provide access to the usual starting points for ascents.
It’s important to note that many summits are reached via dirt tracks. In many cases, these tracks are either restricted to motor vehicles or are in poor condition, making car travel impossible. Additionally, some sections may be covered with snow, further limiting vehicle access.
These are routes that, in some cases, involve significant distances and elevation gains. Each person can adapt, modify, or complete them over as many days as they see fit.
